Hi,

Longtime lurker, first time poster. Appreciate the wealth of info on here, and hope this post fits within the rules of posting generally accepted here.

Was thinking about purchasing this watch, but was unsure on the age provided by the seller. All original, "grandpa" hand me down. Claims to be an early 80s version.....but based on the dial and crown, i was leaning more towards late 60's to more likely mid 70's.

Once in possession, i am aware a quick reference/serial check could solve the mystery, but was wondering before purchase.

1000 thanks in advance for your help...

Any sign of the “166.033” engraving that should be on the back of the unishell case? I have one - introduced in 1969.

34-35mm (late) 60's or very early 70's probably gold plated with a basic movement
