I would be very grateful if one or more of you knowledgeable chaps could give me some information on this vintage Omega. Don't give a fig about value, I love it dearly and would never part with it. I think it's circa 1945, it's in very good nick and runs well (though a little fast). I think Roman numerals are rare on Omega watches but I've never seen those flashes above the numerals on any other watch and the blued hands are unusual. The case no. is 2165. Please excuse photos I have tried but when it comes to it I'm just a rubbish photographer. Best Regards.

Thanks for that, unfortunately that's all the information they have. Presumably same movement but very different appearance. Many thanks for your help.

What does that mean exactly? You think the dial has been replaced and done poorly?

He means the dial was repainted and not done very well.
