Beautiful Story of Dad, 1950s , from Old Eastern Europe to New World... i can see You Adore & Love Dad with all Your Heart ...This prized Omega possession is your Family Heirloom that You Must Guard & Pass to your Grandchildren 1 day.. Maybe for Safety Issues , You should get a 2nd but modern Omega to wear over the weekdays & dad's vintage over the weekends...?
Why are there few women participating in the forum ? Sure that's easy ... Because some of the "senior men" are behaving like Jerks & Jackasses esp in the watch freeks & dive connection forums ! Rude Shameless Low Class Clown Craps & by some of the mugshots i see.. yeah..they look like Bullying Rowdies & freakin' A$$H■☆♢s ! Criticizing watches are perfectly acceptable , weighing the pros & cons giving honest opinions that's Cool ! But insulting people with vulgar sexists remarks & insinuations.... & the watches they own are waaaayyy out of line. Let's see when i insult & verbally abuse their mothers' & daughters'...!!! You dont like that... Do You,Guys?
If the Management decides to Ban Me from any Forum for speaking Up .. sure..that's ok too...
The Bottom Line is Always Encourage People & Give Them Hope & Belief that they are doing the right thing....not running people to the ground.... with senseless worthless comments

Hi everyone.

I just joined and have already spent quite a bit of time looking at all your beautiful watches. I don't see many women here ( or women's watches ), but I hope I am welcome too.

This was my fathers Omega which he wore daily for many years. I was told by my mom that he wore it to Canada from Yugoslavia around 1950. It keeps perfect time but I took it in for a service anyway because I plan to keep it and wear for the rest of my life. The movement looks good for its age I think, but I have never seen the inside of a watch before, so I wanted to show you the pictures.

My picture of the watch's face did not turn out so well so I will show it later.
