    Hi all,
    I received this watch from my great grandmother. does anyone have any information on this? theres no serial number behind, and the only engraving was 14k 585.

    Not sure what to make of this. The watch head is clearly an Omega, although I think there may have been a center seconds hand at some point. I would need more information from the inside of the case and movement to say any more.

    The band looks to be put together from several other bands. The links look very Rolex to me, but I don't see Rolex markings anywhere. The clasp looks like an original Omega piece. The hinge looks generic. The whole bracelet might very well be solid gold. You'll need to take it to a jeweler for a test. If it is gold, it might be worth several times the value of the watch.

    It's so hard to say anything based on only a few photographs. Better to get an in-person opinion.

    Not likely to be a Rolex bracelet. Since they were having them made by others when this was made, I think its a generic all 14K piece with the Omega logo added by a jeweler when it was mated to the watch in period.

    There were numerous makers of riveted Oyster style bracelets when this was make likely in the 1950s.
