    Does anyone have any info about this watch? I am unable to open it up to confirm an Omega movement or Serial. The photo is not as close as I'd like either. I can try to get another one from the seller, if it would help.

    To clarify, by any info, I mean does it look real? I know the band seems from much later.

    Now here's a thread asking for authenticity and not the usual fake uncle valuation, unfortunately I can't help you but I can't help you but welcome to the forum.
    See guys I can post on here without any sarcasm to a new member.
    (I'm loading both barrels of my sarcasm shotgun for the next newbie asking a stupid question though)

    Thanks for the welcome! I have learned a lot so far.
    How's by I ask this a different way....
    I have a chance to buy this ultra cheap. I can't get inside or get any other info, but I like it (well uh, not that band). Does it scream fake to anyone?

    I'm getting the feeling these sorts of questions have gotten a bit old around here on this forum. Am I right? Sorry for my ignorance of so.

    Looks like a 30mm T2 SC caliber Inside, but difficult to say more without a picture of the Inside.

    I'd buy it for less than $100 without seeing the movement.

    If you like it, and it is cheap (as in you wouldn't lose any sleep if you lost the money entirely), then worth a gamble. Why not, right?

    Members here won't be able to tell much definitively without more/better pictures.

    Good luck!

    Chill out, there'll be another newbie coming along the track any minute.............................

    To the Original Poster (@TMas )

    Like others have said, if you can afford to risk the money it may end well.

    I'm wary of the aged dial and the pristine bezel, not a good match.
    The crown is also iffy and the lug at top left appears to be a "drillled through" spring bar hole.
    You really need better pictures to be sure.

    Thanks for the answers all. It helps.

    @JimInOz
    The nice case/aged dial combo set off a red flag for me, too.

    @Event horizon
    I'm starting to get curious about the sarcasm thing now. I can ask something totally ridiculous and stupid if it helps you pull the trigger.

    Example:
    Was Omega really started by a college fraternity? I read it on the internet so I know it's true.

    Aaaargh of course it was started by a college fraternity in the good ole US of A like most of the worlds greatest inventions, just like Henry ford invented the motor car! Where's Ulackfocus when you need him?
