I grabbed this recently on eBay because I thought it looked nice and very well preserved!
The dial is a two-tone matte grey/glossy black with typical radium numerals (« charge » a little when exposed to uv light but stop glowing almost immediately). Signed Polhem
The movement is a signed manual one. Case is stainless steel 34mm without crown ; lugs are quite sharp with large chamfers. Unsigned crown

Any info on this? Considering the lume, I’d guess it’s from the 40’/50’ but I know nothing about this brand!
    Any info welcomed!
    Thanks!

Appears to be an FHF movement. Many of the calibers look alike, so it would be hard to narrow it down without more information. If it matters to you, take a close look with a loupe, there may be a number under the balance. Even a measurement of the movement diameter could help. 50s is more likely than 40s IMO.

Polhem appears to have a Swedish connection.

    Thanks!
I found mention of FhF movement on a polham description!
How could I see that number under the balance?
Any idea when this is from?

What’s up with Swedes and cool little brands? I’ve got 2 in my collection from Sweden that look great but are unknown brands with decent AS movements.

A loupe and a bright light will help you see under the balance. Just look around at the movement. Look for a symbol like this:

Regarding the date, I don't think you will ever know for certain. The main clues come from the general style and the shock protected movement. So I would guess 1950s, but on second thought, late 1940s is certainly possible.

Thanks, I thought so too! Probably misread its value and overpaid it as I ended up being the only bidder but I always have a thing for incredibly well preserved old pieces! Add some radium lume and glossy dial texture and I can’t control it
