    I'm sure you're all more knowledgeable than me on this subject. This watch was my uncle's and would have been bought about 1970's . . . its been in a drawer in a 'stopped' condition and I'm getting it overhauled.     Quartz gold plated. Most likely needs a battery.

    The model number is inside the caseback.

    so open the watch and you will have all the info you will need. caliber , serial number, case ref.
