·Full disclosure: I am an estate liquidator and I occasionally come across nicer watches that I can use help on.
I recently came across this vintage Omega. It's an Automatic, marked "342" inside. The inside of the case back says it's 18K, and I was able to acid test it and the case and they are both 18k.
I was able to get the watch to wind up a bit and it kept great time for the 24 hours or so that I monitored it.
I tried to find it, but even though I came across a LOT that were similar, I couldn't find any with the 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 markers.
Any ideas on age? I'm assuming maybe late 50s? It looks like it may have had a hard life at some point.
And any idea on value? I'd hate to sell it just for scrap; in my opinion it's really a beautiful watch.
