It seems the seller NBTimes has lots of all original very very rare untouched rolexes with killer patina on every watch he sells. Seems unrealistic that he has an office in Hong Kong and NY for US customers and you send money to a Coin Company. I asked him how hard it would to get an all Red gmt hand 1675. He said not hard at all. REALLY? He sent pix of one he just happen to have in mint condition a few hours later. WOW. He is a quick painter.

I have no dog in the fight, but I do also find it peculiar that the seller mentioned in the post above also sells just about every watch with what looks to be untouched cases with perfect chamfers (at least from what I've seen). And yes, every watch seems close to perfect, and claimed original. Things that make you go.. hmmmmmm.

I agree. I asked him since he had an office in NY to send a few watches there and have one of his employees show the watches as I have a few experts in gmt's to look at them or a reputable auction house. He told me to go to hell. Wow, that was the reaction I assumed I would get though. I know a few dealers who tell me he touches up everything. He looks for fools and tells you what you want to hear.

Already check pictures of NBTimes, and looks very suspicious, lume looks new in my opinion. Chamfers in all watches are strangely well marked.

Hong Kong has some excellent Rolex case polishers.
They have become adept at building up the case with laser welding, filling in dents and gouges. Then reprofiling to original specifications.
My collector friends in HK, who used to rabidly by only perfect cased examples, now shun them in favour of lightly worn, marked cases.
The new mantra is "Unpolished". I almost think they now want to see very light wear, or damage, to prove it has not been through this build-up-polish-back procedure.
I spoke to my friend who polishes cases. He took me aside and wagged his finger at me. "Dont you buy any NOS Rolex of Tudor in HK!" he barked. "I make anything look new. But it not NOS!"
So now I don't.

You can go through every watch this guy has sold in the last 5 years and every watch has 1 of 3 shades of patina in immaculate condition. There's no way in hell. Reputable dealers would pay 3x the price for what he's selling for. Then has a coin company you send a check to in new York City for u.s. customers to make it convenient to pay. This nbtimes guy is selling all touched up rolexes and stating all original and never touched. Hardly.
