Any creative tips for getting this off?

This was easy to put on, but the significant thickness is making it nearly impossible to remove with a 6767 spring bar tool without buggering the whole strap up.

Any tips on what to use to remove this? Dental floss? Thanks.

I tried a vibrator, and that didn’t work.

Maybe you tried it this way already; but I have fairly good luck by inserting the spring bar tool along the edge of the strap (as opposed to the top side or the underside).

Feeler gage. Slide between strap and lug until it touches the spring pin under the shoulder. Works every time

Beautiful watch and strap Bob. I once put spring bars that were designed for drilled lugs on a sterling silver onlongapo strap.

Strap was worth more than the watch. I sawed off the lug. I am hoping the experts will have simpler solutions if any of the tips already submitted fail.

Victim. And as the saying goes… photos or it didn’t happen.

This is why I use a 6111...

You can slide the wide fork down the side of the strap, and press to remove the spring bar...

Thanks. Could you explain a bit more about this technique?

Al beat me to it. I'm at work or I would take a picture and send it along. The only thing I can add is, instead of going in from the bottom of the watch, slip the tool in between the edge of the strap and the lug. No matter what you do, there will be a little distortion of the strap. I have found this to be the least damaging to the strap, and it also scratches the lugs the least.
