Watches with 0000/XXXX are typically modern Swatch group display/sample models... not for public sale... buying one could put you in an interesting situation, unless you have documentation from an authorised source saying that the sale is legitimate... and that you're not handling stolen goods.

Units marked as 0000/XXXX are either samples for internal use, or fakes.

Pictures of what you’re talking about would be helpful.

So you’ve bought a snoopy with an LE number of 0000?

It’s either a fake, or someone has stolen a demo/CARNET watch.

Has the seller explained how they have legal title to what is presumably a not for resale demo piece, thus as noted above putting you at risk of buying stolen goods? It may be a great opportunity to obtain something special but is it not more likely this was released into the wild as the result of a smash and grab raid or sneak robbery?

I would be interested to see a pic of the LE number, ie the 0000. Does it have a regular serial on the lugs?

A CARNET is an item on short export, not for resale, and normally for demonstration purposes.

A good impression that he/they as @padders sats, has legal title to a limited edition watch, without a limited edition number?

That would be the Basel sample/carnet piece.

Look - this watch might be legitimate, however:

You need pictures of everything - watch at all angles, serial and LE numbers, corresponding cards and LE certificate.

You also need some proof that the sale of this watch has been legitimately authorised for sale by Omega.

I may come across as an epic scaremonger, I just don’t want to see you sold something that’s not 100% correct.

I was offered a replica of one of these recently. Apparently these are being replicated now. Watch in f2f may be very very different than pics.

    Beware.
