Hey All - just curious if anyone knows if Omega has ever release a blue dial Seamaster Diver 300m without waves on the dial? Thanks for the help!

The Calibre 2500D blue dial without waves on the dial is actually a really nice watch, the D variant movement has proven to be quite trouble free at this point, the ceramic bezel which it pioneered is extremely durable and doesnt scratch up like the earlier ones and the bracelet is less of a pain to size, its a great buy on the used market.

Actually, in many ways I think that the 2012-2017 version of the 300m diver is the best version that Omega has produced. Compared to the current model, it is a little smaller, a little thinner, and has an HE valve with a smaller profile. It also has an applied logo and a beautiful large hippocampus engraving on the caseback, both of which the current model lacks. Although it’s a functional dive watch, the no wave glossy dial gives the watch a dressier appearance so it pairs well with everything from jeans to a tux. As dsio noted, the coaxial caliber 2500d is a proven, reliable, very accurate workhorse of a movement. I have the black dial version and it consistently runs at +/- 1 SPD. It’s a great watch.

Yes, the blue dial is 212.30.41.20.03.001 and the black dial is 212.30.41.20.01.003.

Going back to the first generation, there was a 2537.80. In place of waves, you get 007s.

I think this was the last variant of that Brosnan era Seamaster, before Omega transitioned to the Craig generation. This one already has the longer hands, and the applied hour markers that was carried forward into the 2220.80 worn in Casino Royale.

I know it is not blue but FWIW the only current Diver 300 with non-wave dial is:

Thanks. I love this too but it’s a bit out of my price range currently. Any luck in these coming down in price over time?

I really like this iteration better than the latest one.
Three times I almost bought the 2018 300M. The second time I couldn't pull the trigger because the AD had both versions available, and I was really torn... the pre-2018 is smaller, thinner and has the more subdued dial, hands and HEV.... I feel that this version is when the design evolution really peaked. I currently own a 2500D in a PO and it's an excellent movement.

Midsize version of the SMPc right here. This version of the Seamaster is my favorite out of all the generations. I am probably in the minority but not a fan of the wave dials for everyday wear. Makes for too busy of a dial.
