Any advice / help for shipping watches in Europe?

    Hi,

I am in the process of purchasing a watch and am trying to arrange insured shipping from Denmark to the UK.

Has anyone got any recommendations? I am not overly fussed about the speed of transit, but would like it appropriately insured.

    Many thanks

I've never used it, but lots of people here use ParcelPro for insurance. Not sure if they are US only, or worldwide.

I recommend and use the local postal system, they know where I live, the price is fair, and here in France I can insure a package for up to 5000 euros with Chronopost or Collissimo.

Within the EU is never a problem because there is no customs. I have not had any negative feedback from UK customers with regards to my shipments to them with the postal system.

If you use the national postal service, check that watches are covered by their insurance. In the UK, Royal Mail specifically exclude watches.
