I just took it in to be serviced and tested.
After they told me that everything was good with the functionality and accuracy, they offered me $800 dollars for it.
If I had not spent all of the time i did, trying to identify and then trace the history of this watch, I might have accepted his offer.
But since then it had been appraised, once at $1,500, and a second time at $2,100.
I was just hoping to get a few opinions from the community. Does anyone feel that those appraisals are inaccurate? Please feel free to speak your minds. I appreciate any and all feed back. Thank you.

That's a great watch. You would want to look for auction sales of similar chronographs to get a realistic value. Often appraisals are for insurance value, which doesn't mean the item could realistically be sold for that amount by the owner.

Below is a recent sale of a similar 19.73. The one below has a 0.900 silver case, but this does not make a big difference in terms of value. It sold for 331 GBP ($415 USD) on October 19, 2023, with 35 bids. I would say that this price is close to the current market value of your example. EDIT: I really meant to say closer than the appraisals of $1500 and $2000.
