Guys, I have a new to me 3592.50 that has the hesalite front and sapphire back. It's suddenly running 5 secs fast..PER MINUTE..which i believe means it needs to be demagnitized. I also ran it under a compass and it definitely moves the needle.

I've ordered a cheap demagnitizer to fix the watch for now, but my concern now is that it will happen again, and frequently since I travel alot and go through airport security.

Are there antimagnetic watch pouches out there that i can put my watch in before i put my stuff through the x-ray machine?

Do you keep your watches in a safe? Mine was magnetizing a Seamaster Calendar cal 503 very badly whole none of the others were affected.

Mine went through security at the airport and within an hour i noticed it was running 5 mins fast. I did walk through the scanner, beeped, then had to put it through xray.

X-rays have a different wavelength than magnetic waves.
