In general, ‘railtrack’ dials in constellation are uncommon. This one was the latest in my collection. It was omega ref. 14393-2, serial no. 17,218,xxx with cal. 561. In my opinion: The gold-cap case looks quite good. The ‘railtrack’ with ‘half-waffle’ dial was original with some nice fading. The ‘thin’ decagonal crown was original. The crystal with 'signed omega' plus 'enlarger at date-window' was original too (but this one was special order). The medallion looks good. The movement was correct, original and quite clean. I try to search this dial configuration and found nice example from @cristos71 and another example ,sent to me by @seekingseaquest (but both of them were “stainless steel” case). Finally, my wrist shot: Thanks for advice from @cristos71, @ConElPueblo, @seekingseaquest, @Dr No, @Peemacgee, @watchyouwant and others. If anyone got this dial configuration please share. Thanks for your kindness comment. Teerapat
Great find once again, Teerapat. Congrats. I quite like the discoloration of the waffle part of your dial - gives the whole watch a bit more warmth and fits the gold case nicely. She’s a beauty!
that's pretty nice and rare piece you have. what added to it as a premium is that it has CB case constellation.
Oh no....please don't start trying to bring the Speedmaster craziness to us sober Constellation collectors! We are fortunate in that we don't only need a case designation to tell them apart
Very nice. These macro shots from the text are great. Almost feels impossible to get the paint on a 3D waffle that way.
We’ll after much persistence I finally managed to pick up the third example shared above (from sectordial, also a forum member btw). In addition to the OPs and the one from @cristos71, I’ve also seen the two below. From Google, the direct links just bring you to a FB page.
That’s why I asked, I can’t recall ever seeing one without lume. Beautiful, beautiful watch. Congrats.
