On the latest Bruun-Rasmussen auction, currently with an estimate of 80,000 kroner (approx. US$9,360]: https://bruun-rasmussen.dk/m/lots/F96DAAAAEF51?category_id=37659
The dials on the vintage Ultraman are something to be seen in person, pretty hard to describe really. Glad I bought mine long ago described as "wrong hand" by the dealer The dial looks nice on that watch, scratches look to be on the plexi? Cheers, Michael
Hands are different from 2915-3 too? Serial range of 2998-1 and 2 but who know if the case back was used by the factory, stranger things have happened.
Also missing the two holes in the movement holder (MWO mention this seems to be specific to 2915-3). But as you say - who knows.....
The 2915-3 went for 300.000 DKK + fee https://bruun-rasmussen.dk/m/lots/DF5EC6003675?category_id=37659&status=sold
It definitely looks like a 2998-1, both from hands and serial point of view, dial is correct for both reference though, but my guess is it could hardly be a 2915 And I am 99% sure a request of archives for this kind of low serial will not help
Well indeed it looks like we don’t all have the same treatment even if the service is great when it works
Right Just clicked through their instagram profile - and had to smile over the amount of "really rare prototype watches" they are selling...
@ndgal mind sharing what is the European Exchange System? have never seen this before. interesting! beautiful watch by the way
You must have been very lucky or thanks to the link with the military story of your watch... I never had the chance to get an extract for whatever Seamaster or Speedmaster from the 16xxxxxx till the 18xxxxxx and of course I just sent the serial without description in the EoA request
