Saw this yesterday. A3818 ‘Cover Girl’ revival. No bidding allowed BIN only but no price mentioned. Must email first. Very bizarre https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/COLLECTO...rentrq:687b324c1710aa1385f9ae5effeb63f2|iid:1Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
No way, pure scam. They are trying to take the deal out of ebay... remember, if you see an unbelievable price, probably it is because it is not true
There have been several of these style 'PLEASE CONTACT TO BUY IT NOW' Ebay auctions lately. There was a 105.003 last week in the UK for £3500 and a U.S seller is currently offering a 376.0822 for $4500, direct and off Ebay of course.
Every few days this scammer hacks a different account and puts up hundreds of listings with exactly the same text. The eBay takes them down.
Well, I don't actually look at all the listings. They just happen to show up in several of my saved searches, and it's an annoyance, since I scroll down the search results and there will be 5 in a row all from the same scammer.
Here is the latest variant. 99.9% feedback with a score of 14,905, selling electrical supplies. Now suddenly he has 111 luxury watches listed.
It's incredible eBay can't seem to keep up with this. It's literally the same text used over and over.
The worst technology company in my The worst technology company in my opinion. Have no improvement in last 20 years. A bunch of morons working at this company. So many companies learned and got so much better.
Now many of the same watches listed in this hacked account. Same listings, which are auctions but direct a buyer to pay through a separate website.
I see what you mean. I was hacked once, maybe 12-15 years ago, from lack of activity, since then I always open a ebay page whenever I'm online just to show constant activity. Somehow scammers can track activity/inactivity and pounce with inactivity. An Italian seller actually "sold" a computer and monitor. I doubt the buyer was happy.
