Hello Everyone, New member John here from NC. I've never taken much notice of watches until 8 months ago when I saw a old blue dialed Seamaster in a local watch shop. After about a week of internal discussion why I shouldn't pay 1000 for a watch, passion won out and I went back to get it. It was, of course, gone. From then on it's like this watch cast a spell on me, which has led me to your website. I'm very glad I found this place. It is truly amazing how much knowledge is in these pages, more than one can absorb in a lifetime. I'm slowly learning and watching the private sales forums, hope to purchase a good piece soon. Thank you all.
Thanks all. Just bought my first Omega from these forums, can't wait to get it. If I hadn't found this place I'd probably have picked up a watch from D in Canada, not knowing any better. I really appreciate everyone on here and all the assembled knowledge. Will post photos of the Seamaster when it arrives.
