Just a heads up on a nice 145.012 FS on time zone. Has a tint of blue in the bezel (which is in very good condition) and otherwise seems honest in description and price. Can't tell about the crown and need to know about the serial but otherwise looks correct. Hands missing some lume and not the best color on the hour lumes but the dial doesn't look especially "tired," as they say. I don't own the piece or know the seller, just wanted to hear what people had to say.

Pretty! Possible blue tint aside, the bezel's in really good condition. Depending on the condition of the bracelet, $6500 could end up being a really good buy on this I think.

This is my hold up, if the dial were clear of whatever this is, it would be a buy.

Agreed @Kringkily and @LawBrk the seller should do a little investigation and see if it can be cleaned up or at least give everyone a better idea of what it is with dial only pictures. Otherwise a nice piece IMHO.

Pulled the trigger on this before checking the forum. I also inquired about the dial, and it is a small bubble. Not sure about the repairability, but I plan on wearing this one, and its cool w me. The bracelet is in pretty good condition, dented clasp (seems reparable) and a little stretch. Serial number and case back check out. Will post some pics as soon as I receive, assuming there is some interest :)

@kidkimura please do! Looks like a good pick up, hopefully the dial issue is minor, especially given the great condition of the rest of the piece. If it doesn't sit well in the end I think the market's trend will be forgiving in resale.

Just got her. Here are a few quick snaps. Will put together more this evening. Watch is in really good shape at first glance except for 2 small bubbles on the dial. Lume is fully intact. Everything seems original. Bracelet is in good shape except for the small dent in the clasp (as expected).

    Looks nice.

Any ideas on what causes a bubble like that?

Any chance of a macro of the bubble?

So blue or ghost bezel? In some light it looks blue esp on the temp blue nato until I get the real strap for this. I think most would call this a ghost bezel, which makes me question the blue bezels being really blue. This is crappy lighting if I put it in a light box you would see the same fadeing on mine and it would be easy to pop the blue.

Overall, I think you've got a nice watch there. Plenty of character. Well done for getting it and enjoy wearing it.
As for the bezel, I don't know about the colour. I must say that the blue and green examples I have seen generally appear to have been chemically enhanced, like so many things from the 1960s.
If I had to describe the bezel condition, I'd say looks more "cat fight veteran" than "meteor shower survivor".

For what it's worth, that may be worth nothing ;)
The truest, best blue bezel belongs to PitPro. Oh ya, it's a DON to boot :)
I've yet to see one that compares to his.

@oddboy I can try. Any tips on macro photography of this sort?
