Fellas, I really appreciate all the help you have already provided me on my quest for a bumper. Your expertise guided me away from a couple of bad watches, and towards one that I bid up to my max but just couldn't quite manage. I believe that I am learning (albeit a little slowly) about what to look for and what to avoid in Omegas but I would be indebted to you all if I could call on your expertise one more time. There are several I am looking at this time.

This one seems nice, unless I am missing anything, but it is right there at the upper end of my budget.

This one looks decent overall. I think the dial (with some patina) and case are okay on it, and the rotor shows some sign of rubbing but they don't have a photo of the inside of the case back. Is this a fair price for this watch or should I keep on moving?

Other than the crystal and the corrosion on the rotor this one looks okay. Is that corrosion something I should be worried about?

This one looks pretty good overall, I think the dial is probably original and the case doesn't look bad to me. The inside of the case back looks like there may have been some rotor rub at one point but I am not seeing anything on the rotor itself. So my main question on this one, unless I'm just dead wrong about it, is what is a fair price to pay for it and is it safe to bid on one from Indonesia?

This one looks gorgeous to my eyes but it is in Singapore, should that raise any red flags?

I am really digging this one, but it is from Vietnam and so again I am not sure if it's safe. I am also a little concerned about what looks like a repair to the case back. It looks like it has had a hole form in it somehow and subsequently be filled.

I know that is a lot to look over but I really do appreciate the guidance.

if you can't find something you like in your price range then maybe you either need to look at something else or up your price range! Anyhow,

    1 is a redial
2 is tired, dial not great. 'See through back' worries me. No it isn't, just a pic of the movement, maybe it has an aftermarket glass back?
3 is very small at around 32mm
4 ok late 2577, nice even, but grubby. Prob needs a service.
5 another nice late 2577, case is supiciously smooth, probably lightly polished or replated but the pictures are't great so hard to judge. Looks good as looks as long as they havent polished through the gold. Needs a service.
6 lots of patina, jungles of 'Nam take their toll I guess, don't like the caseback, looks either a repair or replacement.

I hope you realise that any 1950s bumper like this sourced from eBay is very likely to need servicing unless they can prove otherwise. This could add a substantial chunk, $150-300 maybe to your outlay possibly immediately. As I said at the start, if $400-500 is your total budget, you may get into trouble with these.

Padders, That is kind of my thinking about the budget is that if I don't find one that is half way decent at this price range, I'll just wait a few months and look again at a little more expensive ones. Thanks for the feedback.
