Up to a certain price point, these watches will always find buyers. It is at the $2400 and up that the level of interest starts tapering off. This one though is a rose gold example with an original dial in pretty nice shape and I think is a good buy at the price.

seriously thou, for a lot of reasons, I think
Omega collecting is drawing a larger and larger
    audience.

You know what. I don't count my watches anymore, I weight them and count by pounds

While I do really want one of these, I've decided that I do actually need to wait until my bank account reaches an appropriate balance, rather than buying now and saving/repaying later

Don't worry, you'll think of a way to rationalize around that soon. It just takes the right watch coming up for sale.
