Hello! I am looking at this angelus and I'm not sure if it's a redial or not. I have posted on another forum and 1 individual said it looks original to him but no one else chipped in so I'm hoping to get more opinion here.

Initially I felt that it's original as well but as my friend pointed out the discrepancies between the "3" in the font, I scrutinised it harder.

The area that bothers me is the minute track below the right subdial is suspicious to me. I'm not sure if it is degradation or signs of redial.

Also, the telemetre track looks very sloppy and non-crisp, especially the track between 7km-13km.

I'm hoping someone who's experienced with angelus could weigh in. I'm not sure how strict angelus QC was and I might be scrutinising it too hard.

Minutehand may be too long, if yours is 34-35 mm wide, hand may fit their larger versions.

Thanks for pointing that out! I did not realise the minute hand has overshot the dial. You're right. It is a 35mm.

Good watch. I don't see hands as an issue.

I had a similar one as well before, few years back.
It does have a same font for the 3 on all places, but that doesn't make yours a redial! Looks good!

My watch is original and the minute hand needle overlaps the minute track. Not an issue.

What do you think is a good price for this? Seller is very hard to communicate with and replies once a week.

I know the black version goes for about 3-4K usd depending on the dial. I don't see the white one for sale as often.

I will only say that dial looks fantastic. Condition, condition, condition.

I have just received it. Now, does anyone have hands to sell me? All I need is a 12.5mm minute hand!

I don't think you need to do a dammed thing.

The end of the minute hand is bent, precariously close to the tachymeter. I'm slightly worried if it comes lose, it will scratch the dial.

Am I being too paranoid? IMG_1765.JPG
