For sale is an Angelus Chronograph with caliber 250, dating to approx. 1949.

Angelus was a mid-20th century chronograph specialist with a range of in-house developed movements. The most famous is the Chronodato.

The watch is a two-pusher chronograph with a 30 min.-counter in a stainless-steel case. The movement is one of those classic beauties from the 30/40’s. The dial has patinaed to a champagne color with some light spots (radium burn?), particularly around the sub dials. With a loupe, you can see some spidering of the dial. The hands are blued and the dial is signed Swiss. The case back is signed Angelus, stainless steel and the serial number. The crystal has no major and only sports few imperceptible minor scratches. Overall the watch is in great condition giving its age. The case has no major scratches and just the normal micro scratches that can only be seen with a loupe. The case size is: length: lug to lug 41.5mm, width with crown 36mm, without crown 33.5mm, height: 12mm.

The watch comes on a new genuine leather strap with an alligator print pattern.

Service history is unknown, but the watch functions as intended. The chronograph function smoothly and resets to zero.

No box or papers are included

    I am asking US$1500

PayPal and bank transfers are accepted. Please add 3% fees for PayPal payments. Shipping & handling is included for CONUS and added for all other countries. Shipping is fully insured and of course the correct value will be used for custom purposes. If PayPal is used, I will ship only to verified addresses. I prefer to ship directly to the buyer, if other arrangements are made I will not be responsible after dropping off the shipment.

I have bought a few watches here on OF and I can provide you with feedback from EBay and Etsy if requested. The buyer may share feedback ratings on request.

Returns will not be accepted unless the watch is grossly different from the description. Please ask relevant questions before you commit to buying. After all, these are vintage watches.

Unfortunately, I am not a watchmaker and therefore cannot guarantee the future performance or water resistance of the watch. I do however try to describe the watch as accurately as possible. I wish this transaction to be win/win and I will do everything to make it so.

Thanks for your interest and to OF for the space and opportunity to post this FS ad. IMG_2078.JPG IMG_2079.JPG IMG_2080.JPG IMG_2082.JPG IMG_2095.JPG IMG_2097.JPG IMG_2101.JPG IMG_2103.JPG IMG_2104.JPG 1IMG_2105.JPG
