Just purchased a watch off the bay, an Angelus Chronodato. Looks to be all original, but the case back is NOT signed? I think maybe the Angelus logo was polished off ? Please chime in on this if you have any opinions or observations ! Anyone have any spare case backs or dials for this watch ?
    Thanks,
    Roland

I've seen a few of these with unsigned case backs and six-digit case numbers (including mine). I think it's a normal variant. I don't believe anything has been polished off.

Mine was sold in 1953. I got it with box and papers. Case number matches the number on the bill of sale.

Caseback number well within the known range for these. I'm not bothered by the lack of signature either.
