Hi OF,

For sale is my first series Angelus Chronodato watch, one of the world’s first wristwatch to feature chronograph and full calendar (day-date and month) complications.

Dial: 100% original black and grey two-tone dial with vertical day and month windows.
Case: Stainless steel, personal engraving on the case back, Angelus logo and serial are still clearly visible, original crown, case is unpolished.
Movement: Cal SF 217 that has been fully serviced last month.

The watch measures 38mm excluding crown with 20mm lugs width. It actually wears much much bigger than a 38mm watch due to the elongated lugs, reminds me of a Universalone. Triple signed Angelus on the dial, caseback and movement. All functions work as it should.

The black and grey two-tone dial is very rare, and much rarer to be found in such clean condition like this one. Most of the Chronodato dial has degraded due to radium from the markers, but not in this case with the non-lume dial that will preserve the cleanliness of the dial.

Below is a good example in slightly less condition, and even with the non-lume dial, there is still patina occurred on it,

The watch is sold as is head only, no box or papers. Priced at USD11,000 + shipping. Paypal or bank wire only.

Thanks heaps

Andre

Very very hard to find these in original condition. Most have been messed with. This is just incredible.

Another bump. Did Chronodato precede 1518?
