    Hi OF,

For sale is my solid gold 18k Angelus Chronograph from 1940s.

Dial: 100% original, applied roman numerals. All original hands.
    Movement: Cal. 215
Case: 18k solid gold case. Pushers has some wear, case back is tight and rarely open. Case is unpolished. All engraving and hallmarks on the inside case back is clearly visible.

The watch measures 35.5mm excluding crown. The fancy lugs case makes this watch very versatile to be dressed up or down, either on side or top stitch Shell Cordovan straps (as shown on the photos), or a dress alligator straps!

Triple signed Angelus on the dial, case back and movement. Three minutes telephone increments red marks on the right subdial for 3, 6, 9, and 12 minutes. Most vintage chronograph only have the 3, 6, and 9 minutes marks, this watch has 4 marks which makes it very unique and attractive.

The watch has been fully serviced by my watchmaker, movement is real nice and clean. Service receipt will also be included with the sale.

The watch comes with a brand new leather strap (not pictured), no box or papers. Priced at REDUCED 2,600 USD + shipping. Paypal or bank wire only.

    Thanks heaps

    Andre

Had a change of heart last time and got the watch fully serviced, hence the withdrawal. Now back on the market again :)

According to someone who has a NOS set of this watch including the purchase receipt, his watch was purchased from the US Army PX for $570 in 1946, when the average annual salary at the time was $3000! Quite an investment back then! That's around $6k in todays money!

Wow .... what a perfect watch. As owner of two watches from Andre's collection, I can attest that he knows his stuff, takes great care of his collection and is super to deal with.
