What couldn't be done - putting a vintage watch on your wrist? Looks like you conquered that. You can move up to tying your own shoes now! :p

ps - the steel looks like it's a different color (must be a slightly different alloy).

Excellent! I was wondering how this combo would look. I bet it’s more comfortable and stronger than the old ones.

I don’t like the clasp it is way to massive for my taste

Doesn't look terrible, but what about the weight? I always like the feel of the light bracelet on my 105.003

So do you prefer this to my 60th LE plus 1125 experiment?
Look harder if you can bring yourself to Den. The bracelet ain’t remotely vintage. This is a combo that is supposed not to work...

Not at all... I was thumbs-upping that it actually

    1) fit on your wrist
    2) you made it fit a vintage Speedy

I have this feeling that a lot of folk will try this at home...well not me ...

NEXT task : make a 1035/7912/7077 buckle clasp fit ::bleh::

It is pretty heavy to be honest. Feels exactly like the 60th LE though unsurprisingly. I don't think it will be a permanent fitting.
