Picked this JLC memovox E855 k825 up a few weeks ago. And we'll it needs alittle love. So it's packed up and off to jaeger lecoultre. Hopefully they can work some magic. Stand by for the finished piece. In like 8 months or so lol. I hear it takes an unreasonable amount of time.

Unreasonable is relative. That watch will come back looking like new. Fair warning - plan on at least $2200, and another $900+ if you want them to make the dial pristine again.

Yeah, I've had 2 watches restored at LeSentier. Look at it this way: you'll have what amounts to a like-new Memovox for half of what the new reissue costs.

Here's the question you need to ask before sending a watch to JLC:

Will the watch will be worth $3,000, plus your cost of the watch when it is done?

Now if this is another $6 Goodwill Special, then it's a no-brainer. I have seen near NOS versions of this watch near $4,000.

    So maybe.

My wife thinks so too seeing as she sneaks it out of my box often enough.
