Dial looks good and legit, but the lugs have been a bit over-polished.

The hands are too long and I don't think they should have lume.

Yes the hands should have Onyx inserts and be shorter.

And btw the watch otherwise looks nice. Lugs appear to have been polished but the photograph as taken overemphasizes that.

    Hi guys,

Roger did me a favor posting the above Omega. I have been registered here for probably a long time, but never posted anything. So this is my first post. It is great reading your comments. I have the above watch for about 15 years now. Since 1998. Long time.

My name is Boris, and I am the founder of a watchblog at www.watchesandart.blogspot.com. The blog is heading into its 6th year.

I am a collector and trader of all kinds of mechanical timepieces. This grew from my passion for such watches. Every day, I am learning new things, and it is an exciting time to research and find new vintage watches.

I am looking forward to reading your contributions.

I thought shrinking occurred when you dried on high heat?

I can't believe a rookie mistake like that, when you always taught me to hand wash your watches and hang them out on a line or lay them out flat to dry
