Good day everybody, I found this watch in a box in mom's house, looks very old, glass is real glass and not plastic and it's broken, missing crown, but could not find a reason to dispose of it, does anybody have the same one, or have info on it? could not open it, I'll try again and hopefully show a pic of the movement as well.

Ancre (means "anchor" in French) was a swiss entry-level brand. Yours was surely built in the 1930's. No real value, except sentimental. Can you show us the movement ?

I will try to open it tonight, hoping not to make more damage, even if I think this wil remain this way, not feeling like repairing it, but I like these survivors, they tell stories and take little room….. thanks for the information Organarek!
