Unpolished gold-filled, ALL-PROOF, front-load case with tapered lugs and original signed crown and signed Kreisler bracelet. I don't detect any wear through but there are typical marks from use.

Spectacular tone on tone dial with gold dimpled minute track and a nice combination applied gold pyramid figures and Arabic numerals.

Bright and crisp 17-jewel caliber 19A automatic movement, serial number dates this to ca 1955. Service history unknown but seems to be running OK.

33.8-mm not including the crown x 39-mm lug tip to lug tip.

Click photos for full size resolution.

$625.00, US shipping included, international shipping OK, cost by location.

    Returns only if grossly misrepresented.

Norman, this is gorgeous!! Did you use a time machine to retrieve it from the 1950s? GLWS, but I doubt you will need it!::love::::love::

GLWFS! ...and an amazing set as well

If only I were into gold...:)

    Question though:

That '10' sure looks squished. I don't think I've ever seen a Longines with the '1' and the '0' touching, or almost touching like that.

Norm, can you show us a picture where there's a space in between?

    I've got this one:

Perhaps one of the numerals got re-applied at some point... otherwise, fantastic set and WFS!

Isn't it pretty consistent with the 12, though? Yours have a massive gap between 1 and 2 whereas the numerals are much closer on this one...

    Lovely, lovely watch. GLWS!

    Dial is 100% untouched original.

Here is another Chieftain (first edition, mine is a Chieftain C) with the same dial.

Well, I thought I had control for awhile, but this watch snapped me back into reality, thanks ...:D!

I tried to convince myself that something must be wrong with it, as seen above, but @ConElPueblo and Norm nipped it in the bud!
