Sure !

.
OF amateur-sleuths will have to work it out ourselves... no worries
Sigh!

Example of the kind of esoteric subjects I look out for...
Do You know how many NASA astronauts wore their Gold Apollo 11 tribute Speedmaster BA 145.022-69 after receiving it 1969-1973?
😕
Thus far I have spotted 23 (of 33 living astronauts who received a Gold Speedie) astronauts wearing it in time-period photographs.
Example this 1981 reunion photo taken in December 1981 in which front row astronauts, Eugene Cernan, Walt Cunningham and Donn Eisele wore their Gold BA 145.022-69

As with Schirra's personal Speedmaster CK2998, here again a bezel was added (new chrono hand)

Unbelievable what we're still reading at some "Social Media" ... luckily on this forum the members know better !

Some questions & speculations about a 1969 Edwin Buzz Aldrin photo...
In response, Moonwatchuniverse has posted some images of the Press photo series taken on January 10, 1969 during Apollo 11 briefing which took place in the Building 2 auditorium at the MSC - Manned Spacecraft Center in Houston Texas. On that day NASA officially announced the prime crew for the Apollo 11 mission.
Apollo 11 LMP - Lunar Module Pilot Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin wore his NASA-issued Omega Speedmaster 105.012-65 on a lightweight steel mesh Jacoby Bender bracelet. During Gemini & Apollo programs, NASA issued Speedmaster chronographs for training while other Omega Speedmaster chronographs were specifically reserved for the actual spaceflight mission. During Gemini XII Aldrin wore NASA-issued Speedmaster #23 while during Apollo 11 Aldrin wore NASA-issued Speedmaster #43.

And some esoteric research into the Omega Speedmaster watches worn by Walter Wally Schirra between April 1962 and September 1966:

Tempus Fugit, but 2026 brought a positive trend as during the Omega #SpeedyTuesday event in Hong Kong there was lots of focus on the spaceflight legacy show casing space-flown pieces like the flightmaster and the Speedmaster.
Wine & Dine, VIP hospitality at an expensive location all fine, but IMHO the real impact is made when people are informed with historical & practical facts...

A last word for those who think it's easy to publish research, well it becomes difficult when some spacefarers, who names I'll never mention, appealed to their personal portrait rights so certain space agency photos cannot be used.
Luckily the real Speedmaster spaceflight legacy was made between 1962 and 1982, a period for which we don't have that problem... but now onwards to something more important...

It’s not as if space agency exploration is ultimately funded by the tax paying public….. so of course they have to protect their monetised branding rights ….
