I'm trying to attach a pic to a post as I've done hundreds of times. image uploads fine, but the Insert button never appears.

only seems to happen in PM threads..

am I an idiot?

Well, whether or not you're an idiot can't be determined just from the inability to post images in a PM. Now, if you foolishly spent all your spare cash and more on frivolous hobbies........

I uploaded a PNG version of the file and it seems fine now. for some reason, i could not upload jpeg. Weird.

 

just make sure the file size isn't too big
