Hi everybody,

I’ve been browsing this forum and it's incredibly educational. I hope that you could help me find the type of watch I’ve been looking for.

I fell in love with Omega’s Specialty Olympic Official Timekeeper 522.93.40.20.01.001 but its price is prohibitive. I love the black dial, silver applied indices, case diameter, case thickness and hands.

The only other Omega watch with almost identical characteristics (except the black dial) is the Omega City Edition, in this case the New York 511.13.40.20.02.002, its way cheaper than the olympic at 7.6K USD new, but it's very hard to get either new or used.

The Omega De Ville Trésor 435.13.40.21.02.001 is the closest Omega to the two listed above, but the hands and dials are too skinny, and the case is thicker.

Do you know of Omegas alternatives that resemble Omega's Specialty Olympic Official Timekeeper, that is less than 7K USD?

That is:
  • Black dial
    • Dial color not a deal breaker
  • Applied (triangle?) indices, without arabic numerals
  • Dauphine style hands (triangle shape), over 38mm
    • Or leaf hands
  • Over 38mm case diameter
I know I’m being irrationally picky, but I’m hoping there is something out there.
