Well, I have a Nomos Club arriving any day and I'm really trying to stick to my One In, One Out rule. This beautiful Alpina is too close stylistically to the Nomos, so I'm listing it for sale.

This watch is an amazing value. Alpina introduced it in 2015 as a "tribute" to their own Kriegsmarine caliber 592 wristwatch. It uses Alpina's in-house manufacture caliber AL-710, a 28,800 bph, 26 jewel, 42 hour PR movement developed and built by Frederique Constant/Alpina. It's beautifully finished and runs very nicely.

Note how Alpina pays homage to the sub-seconds at 6 on the original watch by putting a dial date indicator on the modern tribute piece. I love this. So many makers today ruin their re-issues with ill-placed and cheaply cut date apertures using an ugly date wheel. But Alpina thought better of this, and it really shows.

The case is 41.5 mm not including crown and has water resistance of 5 atmospheres. This watch is still in Alpina's catalog along with two similar sister references. If you look at Alpina's site, you'll see that my watch is reference no. AL-710KM4E6.

I bought this Alpina in October, 2015 and of course I have everything it came with: inner and outer boxes, warranty/instruction booklet, original strap (never worn), hang tags, etc.

As an added bonus I am selling the watch with a brand new, never worn Rover Haven Arts & Crafts strap, made from Horween shell cordovan in color No. 8, Horween's most famous oxblood, and probably their most famous color period. I contrasted the No. 8 shell with bright cranberry thread. It picks up the Alpina's red seconds hand counterweight nicely, I think. I made this strap just today for this watch, and I normally sell them for $140 on my own website. The strap is sized at 80/120 and would fit your 6.5" - 7.25" wrist nicely.

I paid $1400 for this watch not quite a year ago and it has been worn sparingly. It is in 99% condition, because I'm sure there are some very fine marks from strap changing. Nothing dramatic though. I am looking for Reduced to $875! shipped and PayPaled in the US. If you're outside the US, I will ship to most countries but would want to talk about it first. There are a few countries I won't ship to because of bad experiences with their postal systems in the past. Sorry.

I'd really prefer to sell the watch, but I am also open to trades straight across or down. Brands I'm always interested in include Sinn, Damasko, Guinand, Junghans, Stowa, and their ilk. I would also consider an Alpina Diver Heritage or an Oris Diver's Sixty-Five (the 42 mm watch with blue dial).

Lots of pics below. Please let me know if you have any questions. PM works great for me. I have tons of references on this site and others so deal with me in confidence.

    Thanks for looking!

Here are some pics of the watch head and the beautiful movement:

Here are some pictures of the watch on the No. 8 strap I made for it. If I say so myself, it looks dynamite on this strap, although beauty is in the eye of the beholder obviously.

Reduced! How about $875 or very next offer.

Got anything to trade up, down, or over?
