    Hello all,
I have an issue to screw my crown on the tube. The first time my watchmaker changed the whole box because the tube cannot be sold alone but this time I turn myself to you the see if there is another solution. Have you met this kind of problem, if yes what was the solution?

    Thanx in advance!

I hope I'm clear in my explainations because I'm french.

If the case tube is stripped, and is not a separate part that can be replaced, then replacing the case is the only easy option.

If you can find someone who is willing to do the work, they could drill out the case tube and tap the case for a threaded one, but you would have to find a case tube that would fit the Alpina crown. No idea what all this looks like in real life, so not much else I can offer...

Yes some brands make very stupid decision with regards to case construction...

    Cheers, Al
