Sold for 227, my max bid was 225. I don't remember if we discussed this piece on here before but I figured for under 250 it was a huge bargain,

 

"Almost". The winner could have had a max bid of $700, but all it took was $227 to beat your $225. You'll never know.

 

Why not? Is that a redial, or is it the discoloring in the movement?

WOW! How did I miss that! That would have been a huge bummer if I won it!

Whatever that means. Now maybe it didn't stay running because it wasn't worn (the seller said to me she doesn't know/understand watches, so maybe it is as simple as that) or maybe something bigger.

I was interested at under $100 as I do like the dial....

 

I liked it. I was actually the first bid on it. I knew I would never have ended up with it but I was curious as to what it would bring. I'm sure I will end up buying something less than pristine to mess with. (Not having any idea what I was getting into it would have had to have been under $200)
