I’m getting my land legs back so during lunch I can Peruse the junk watch shops near my job on the streets of deep ellum. Watch maker had a fine condition seamaster from probably mid 60’s he got stuck on 600 which was probably fair as I think he serviced it.
I offered close but I’m kinda bored of those 60’s seamasters. They all look the same. This citizen kept coming to mind. I’m not done with vintage but sometimes if I’m gonna drop 600 I might prefer something new and unique. Different story if he had a piece a little less common or something I haven’t had 10 of.

Yeah I feel like if you have 10 60s Seamaster DeVilles, maybe it's enough. What do I know though. Grats on your new watch. Catchy dial.

Oh I didn’t get it yet. I was just thinking along those lines or Baltic. Tbh I no longer have any of those seamasters I sold a few gave the others away as gifts two were lost in the mail on the way to China. That pissed me off.

I guess that 'devile' you were looking at was just vile.
Ha ha. They are fine watches, iconic. I like the modern (or quasi modern) more. I guess our tastes just change as we get in the game longer or perhaps I’m more insane than I suspected.

Ah, the fish that got away...

How many times I forget to bid. Or even get distracted waiting for things to end.

Not sure if I can ever have enough. Why is it so hard to stop at one, or six or 30? It always seems that there is one more on the way...
