Hello Omega Forum, my name is Ben and I have a watch problem and from lurking I deduce I'm in good company.

I'm UK based and 40 years young next year so on the hunt for a 1979 Moonwatch (a grail for me) and this forum has already been invaluable. My copy of Moonwatch Only arrived today and I feel like I've got some serious homework to do.

Current rotation is a Sinn 556, Ollech & Wajs Chronograph, Seiko Hi-Beat, Citizen Bullhead and some other weird cheap autos. I look forward to contributing and a steep learning curve.

    Cheers

Welcome friend. I just wish to warn you that forum like ours are very slippery tracks where you may not predict with how many watches you would land up in your possession in a year or till your funds are exhausted. And on top of all that, all your such purchases would seem to be essential for many undisputed reasons.....
    Good luck

Thank you chaps for the warm welcome, afraid I'm no good at jokes @kingsrider, Brexit is about as funny as it gets here. I just took a couple of snaps of the watches I have stashed in drawers, there's some really eclectic stuff! The Bullhead is a redial which although less than £100 was a quick lesson to research before pressing that buy-it-now button. The Sinn has pretty much become my daily, the titanium Seiko (my 21st birthday present now I come to think of it) is my beater when renovating the house/motorbikes/garden. I tend to wear the O&W and the Lord Marvel to my job which is in a high end London casino - I am fortunate to see the worlds best timepieces on a pretty daily basis, where better for the wealthy to show off?! I added a picture of one customers £40k JLC from the other week... Anyway I'm rambling, nice to meet you all.
