Over the weekend and due to the discussions about certain GM models being sold at a fairly deceit discount my interest in the GM (particularly the blue dial version) was once again rekindled. So this morning I headed off in full buying mode to once check them out. I did find some and right enough a healthy discount was available to the point where even stores that did not have the GM on sale they were willing to price match. Saying that my head was turned when I saw Spectre Aqua Terra I was totally taken by it and a purchase followed.

Please feel free to have your say on the watch.

Lovely watch. Aqua terra is close to next on my buying list, particular for a watch that goes with a rubber strap and I can swim with without fear
I have always liked the concept of a diver without a bezel
I like the James bond pendulum - very unique

    Twist ending!

Very nice though OP – love the dial on this one. Your collection still needs a GM tho ;)

I would go with the GM. Especially the white dial black hands combo

Stunning watch, it really is quite a looker and the 15000 gauss rating really helps.

Enjoy the watch and wear it well!

It does? How so? At least, to anyone not working around MRI machines or other such serious magnetic fields, which is probably about half a percent of the entire watch-buying market LOL

There's a lot more devices than you might think, hifi speakers, refrigerators and more can have a adverse effect on a watch, so it's nice to have a little extra protection at times.

It was mostly a tongue-in-cheek sort of comment when I posted it. Sometimes I'm just amused by my fellow watch dorks LOL. I'm around all those things you mentioned though and never had a problem, so the whole anti-magnetic thing isn't something I ever consider as a truly useful feature in my or most people's real lives. But it is a cool spec to nerd out over.

By chance my other Seamaster is also anti-magnetic.

love this AT that you got

I have the GM ... from back when it wasn’t heavily discounted. Still love it though - just curious, which GM were you considering?
