    Hello dear omega enthusiasts,
I came across a nice looking vintage watch but i have some concerns, mainly that caseback model is of gold plated case 131. 019sp but watch is obviously SS, and i couldnt find this dial in this case anywhere on web, it is manual wind cal 601. Your thoughts guys?

Yeah Cosmics have a very different case and the movement can only accessed through the glass. It usually says tool 105 or 107 on the back along with a very thinly engraved hippocampus logo. Cosmics also utilised 565 movements for the date ones and cal 613 I think for no dates. what you have there is a cal 601 from the mid 60's with a cosmic dial and thrown into a non seamster case. The parts are alll original but its a total Franken!

601 (no date manual) is fine for Cosmic. 613 is date manual, 565 is date auto.

Anyway watch is a franken, wrong case as it was already pointed out.
