Is this an authentic warranty card, doesn't Omega use the red ones for all their watches international and domestic? Was looking at a pre-owned Speedy online and this is what it comes with...

Never see that, maybe it's not an Omega warranty but a Gray dealership

Coming back to a speedy? :)

I can't help definitely with your query, but I haven't seen a warranty card like that myself.

What's the vintage of this one?

I'm looking to pick up a pre-owned Speedy for the right price...

Well he said he bought it from original owner...
Lives in Australia and said the watch is around 1998-2000

I have an Omega warranty card from that same era that looks exactly like that, at least for the portion of the card i can see. Only difference on mine is a dealer name is embossed below the "JEWELER:" label on the card on mine, your's is blank. It's legit. There should be a hologram on the middle right, and a red omega symbol and OMEGA on the bottom right.

Wow, I always assumed Omega's been using red plastics for longer then that.

Not a bad price for a complete set, it just depends on your preferences. If you like the slimmer profile 1498 bracelet and the tritium dial that will continue to age and gain patina then go for it. If you'd rather have the superluminova dial and the beefier push buttom 1998 bracelet then you can usually find a set for 150-200 more. Also, since this is at least 15 years old I would ask about service and how the piece is running.

I hope you'll settle and love it this time around. I would go for it. Great price, good example... Safe to say you can sell it for the same or more worst case scenario.
