Here is one of my most beloved watches. A Croton 1878 simple Chronograph with what they call the #paulnewmandial. I have not seen another green in the interwebs. Only wish it came with those arrow hands.
Love those Wanderers, thanks for introducing me to them. I've always had a penchant for alarm watches -- Crickets, Advisors, etc. -- so excited to have a new one to hunt down.
You need to take your post down. You need to have a required 200 posts to sell a watch and it should be listed in the Private Watch Sales. You can read the rules in that section. @dsio @gatorcpa @kyle L EDIT: @gusty33 has taken down the portion of the post that was not within the rules.
Ditto, just bought a Nivada in the weekend ( no photos yet as its off at my watch maker for a service) gorgeous ETA 2472 movement inside just cost NZ$10.00 at the local flea market, I doubt its ever been serviced! If I put it together with my Poljot alarm watch maybe they will have some Crickets of their own
Long shot thread revival question: Is there any chance of finding a replacement bezel for a world timer alarm? This one's a little rough but I'll still buy it if my WM ever finds the time to get it running...
Once I got my feet wet with the Croton Nivada Grenchen alarms, I went Cricket-Crazy, and found myself collecting a veritable ‘chorus’ of them! Here’s a video I posted a few years ago with the barking metal Crickets in action/chorus: https://youtube.com/shorts/RXLgy-EpD2g?feature=share
