I have been thinking of visiting local boutique from some time long but never had a reason/justification for planning the visit because of the distance.

Anyhow took a appointment and went to the boutique today .... took my queens along ;)...

I am gladly surprised with the whole experience ... Had a moment of pride and joy when all the SAs gathered across to see the YG Grand Luxe.
They were very friendly and helpful .... i got more than i bargained for...
    Great experience !

Purchased AJTT from the boutique ... i believe its the only book i bought in last 10 years... And its really worth it .. Its love of work ! Kudos to the authors.

They also did 6 point check and free cleaning of all the watches i took along.

looks like of all the watches i took my blond is queen is running 105 seconds faster :D Needs a overhaul.

Wow! Do they now have watchmakers at the Boutique in Philadelphia now?

I thought that service was only available in New York.

yeah when I went to the KOP meet earlier this year the grand luxe was all the rage. the group and staff ogled over the cal 320 dress chrono almost as much. it's fun showing off yester years treasures

We dont have any specific thread for that but the friendly community here would be happy to help you out.

FYI Its 400$ and it well worth the price if you are planning to pursue this hobby seriously.

    Welcome to OF

Well, you can ask but would suggest, nicely :)
Most, I've found, are generally willing to help while also expecting that an enquirer would do some researching as well

Thanks for the tips, both of you.
I will make sure to put money aside for a copy and in the meantime I will phrase my questions politely.

Its no longer a hobby, to take it seriously... Its a Addiction and it is deadly dangerous :D.

actually i didn't kn0w boutiques sell this books. My dealer tried to get one for free or at least for dealer cost but he couldn't get this book from his regular omega sales channel.
