Alain Silberstein x Louis Erard Collaboration

Up for sale is the La Semaine, a result of a recent collaboration between Bauhaus-inspired architect and watch designer Alain Silberstein and the manufacturer Louis Erard. The official reference number is: 75357TT02.BTT88

This watch gets its name in order to highlight Silberstein’s inspired choice to replace the standard days of the week with different smiley faces to represent each day.

The case of this watch is constructed from both grade 2 and grade 5 titanium. Ticking away inside (and keeping good time) the case is the ETA 2836-2.

Only 178 of this watch were made, with 78 pieces being sold as part of a three watch “triptych” and the remaining 100 selling individually. For those who followed the release, this particular model sold out in a flash and is now selling in the secondary market for quite a bit over retail.

I’m not looking to make a similar killing on this one… I did not buy it with the intention of flipping it for profit, but rather have found it hasn’t fit in with my recently consolidated collection (now down to four highly-versatile core pieces). I think this watch fits a lot better within a larger and more diverse collection.

My asking price is the Canadian dollar equivalent of $5,250 USD and includes insured shipping within CONUS. Payment via Bank Wire or PayPal F&F. I am willing to ship overseas at the buyer’s cost. No returns offered on this one.

The watch comes with the box and all documentation from Louis Erard and is covered by the remainder of a three year warranty. Also included in the sale is an extra OEM quick-release strap and a spare OEM crystal, which I purchased at the same time as the watch.

The strap, by the way, is brilliant… a Velcro style loop strap that allows a perfect fit and feels just right together with the lightweight titanium case.

I bought an extra crystal because this one has double-sided AR coating, and I always like to have a backup when AR coating on the topside of the crystal, so I can wear the watch stress-free.
