The sad part is I emailed the auction house asking for original photos and they ignored me.

Maybe they missed the email, but 4 days before an auction I doubt it.

It’s as if “buying the seller” is quickly losing value as more take shortcuts to get items listed quickly

Given the amount of money these things cost, I value buying the seller a lot more than saving a little bit of cash.

agreed - it doesn’t solve the AI issue but at least there’s typically an inspection period where you can still get a hassle free refund
