I like it a lot. but I'm really new in this world, thats why I ask so much opinions,
I'm not sure about the marks arrow shaped,
also the back of the watch shows the polished in one direction. is this normal? or it was recently polished.
    is the price adecuate?

a final question. what does "circa 1954" means

PS: sorry for the bad english

betwen the movement and the case there is a ring, I guess it is because de 266 movement is usually for smaller cases. it is made of bronce?

"circa" is Latin for 'around' or 'about', so 'circa 1954' means the watch was made 'about 1954'.

    I was born 'circa 1952' :)

    Two things:

    1. The dial has been refinished, if you care. Many serious collectors do, but some less picky ones don't.

    2. The price is at least double what it would go for at a straight auction site, like Ebay. This refinished dial is a huge factor in value.

The best advice I can dispense is to take your time. Vintage watches are not going anywhere; they'll be here tomorrow, in a year, a decade, and a century from now. Start the passion by just looking and learning.

That's a LOT of money for a repainted dial.

Movement serial is nearly 10 years later than the case number. They were not born together.
