Hi all!

I am the happy owner of a nice Seamaster 120 136.027 (manual, date) purchased in Paris with a certification letter from Omega 馃榾

The bezel is a bit worn out.

(not mine but similar, I do not have the watch with me).

I would like to replace this bezel with a blue aftermarket one and safely keep the original (I know, the watch won't be in original state, it's a personal choice).

Could someone help me with to confirm this bezel fits the watch ?

if not, what size bezel to look for?

i will send pics of the watch when possible.

Thanks

Alex

No, unfortunately that won鈥檛 fit. There aren鈥檛 any readily available aftermarket options for this watch. There are fake parts/kits around, but that鈥檚 pretty much it.

If you have a worn bezel, your only practical option is to sell the watch and purchase another with a nicer bezel or do a bezel swap.

AFAIK there are no aftermarket options that fit a genuine case. There are fake bezels kits and although I鈥檝e never handled one, I鈥檓 sure I鈥檝e read several times that the fake bezels don鈥檛 fit genuine cases.

You might get lucky with a replacement OEM bezel on eBay but it might take several years and won鈥檛 be cheap. The easiest route is sell the watch and buy another if you鈥檙e not happy with that one.

Personally I think that bezel matches the watch/dial. A new bezel would stick out like a sore thumb.

Pardon my ingenuity, but what is the difference between an aftermarket bezel (not manufactured by Omega) and a fake one ?

Do you have any link to a "fake" blue bezel that would fit this model?

Thanks

Nothing. Aftermarket and fake are both fake and won鈥檛 fit a genuine case as far as I鈥檓 aware.

Sorry but I鈥檓 not going to share a link to a fake bezel either.

Maybe there's another option and ask somebody to make a custom made bezel. Like @mcgyver Dont know if he can make one.

I recall being on the same quest, I checked all the bezels and their dimensions, none of them was a good fit

Your bezel is in good condition though, in parallel condition for the watch

Yours does suit the case/dial though. A brand spanking new bezel will look out of place.

Not sure if I understand this correctly, but it seems like the watch posted by the OP isnt actually his example.
