Attached are photos of recently aquired AFTERMARKET #6 Speedmaster End Links, compatable with the 7077, 7192 and 1035 Omega Speedmaster bracelets. These end links are copies made in the Far East and will probably become more available around the world. I will not devote much time as to where to find them but wish to bring them to the attention of this forum due to the likelyhood of an future seller looking to make an enormous profit by passing them off as the real thing. IMHO, they are acutally well made, sized propertly and are not easily recognizable from the finished side or if they are attached to a watch. See the pics below mounted on a 7192 bracelet which I displayed in the 105.003 quiz that I just ran and 100's of viewers noticed no issue. They are however, easily recognized by the lack of finish on the underside and the steel is a bit thinner. the number 6 stamping is also a bit off and the flanges are shaped incorrect. Not easily passed on to collectors
Thanks for enlightening our day!! This really helps and again: an other thing to take into account when looking for a vintage watch.... !!
